Wake-up Calls allow controllers to make sure their drivers leave for their duties by having the server alert drivers if they have not reported their departure.
The process is as follows:
– Gescar sends the list of wake-up calls each night
– In the morning, each driver must report that they are ready by calling a server to identify themselves: this cancels the wake-up call
– If a driver does not call, the server tries to call the driver and can deactivate the wake-up call if the code is correctly entered. Otherwise, the server will call the on-call controller to find another solution.
